AN UNUSUAL CUSTOMIZATION CONTEST

Ansewring to the Jungle Call, winners of a big customization contest, the Street Art and advertising agency RENC’ART proposed a graphical and humorous vision of the urban jungle.
Thanks to the combined talents of street artist JBC and covering experts from GSDI, parisians could discover on 8th October, on Bastille Square (Paris, France), an Autolib electric car of a brand new kind. The car body was totally dressed up in verdant jungle, where leopards and iguanas loomed from a lush vegetation, and the passengers seats were wrapped into the nicest zebra covers ever!

 

AN ORIGINAL ACHIEVMENT

Many hours of work were needed to reach this astonishing result. This car was first totalled covered with a jungle green film, on which the artist could then directly paint, as if he was painting on the actual car body. A finishing varnish was then added to protect the work from all the Parisians twists and turns.

This event of customized Autolib was officialy opened on 8th October 2014 by Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo and Bolloré Group CEO Vincent Bolloré.
