Subsidiaries

Founded and headquartered in Paris (France), GSDI has grown from a pioneering idea into a European leader in surface treatment. Since its creation in 1994, the company has continued to innovate, strengthen its expertise, and extend its reach across new markets, driven by a single ambition: to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions. Each subsidiary reflects this same vision, contributing its specific expertise to strengthen the Group’s collective performance and innovation capacity.

Spain

Created in 2001,  our Spanish subsidiary is a key player in the application of surface treatment solutions. With over 2 decades of experience, it leads projects across both the railway and architectural sectors, offering cutting-edge solutions for protection, decoration, and renovation. From anti-vandalism films on public transport fleets to decorative upgrades in banks, museums, hotels, and commercial spaces, it combines technical precision, creative flair, and fast execution. Its ability to deliver large-scale projects on time has earned the trust of clients like RENFE, Siemens, CAF, Bombardier, Alstom, and major metro networks. The company is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, guaranteeing both quality and environmental responsibility.

South Africa

Our South African subsidiary was born in 2014 from a strong local demand for speacialised surface treatments and adhesive films application. What started as a technical installation unit quickly evolved into a full-fledged GSDI entity, offering custom solutions across the region. Thanks to high-volume projects like the train fleet livery for GIBELA (Alstom/PRASA), GSDI South Africa has become a strategic international hub, allowing us to support the global growth of our major industrial clients. The company is also BBBEE Level 2 certified, reflecting its commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth in the region.

Poland

Based in Katowice, our Polish subsidiary is a key player in the processing and application of adhesive plastic films, supporting major operators and manufacturers for over 14 years. GSDI Poland’s projects now operate on German, Belgian, Polish, and Romanian railways, demonstrating its technical expertise and GSDI’s ability to manage large-scale projects.

Germany

Based near Dresden, GSDI’s German subsidiary supports the group’s activities with major manufacturers in Germany for nearly 4 years. Recently, GSDI Germany has also expanded its operations in infrastructure and construction, strengthening its technical know-how in application areas that have driven GSDI’s success in France, Spain, and South Africa.
